Topic: Gamecube Analog Stick

The analog stick on my gamecube controller stopped letting me run forward. I can move forward, but no matter how hard I press forward, the characters won't run. So, I got a third party controller, for free, and it's great. Except that the analog stick on it has virtually no resistance to it. When you move, it goes all over the place. If you use the same pressure on the new controller that you do on the normal gamecube controller, the character or aiming mark moves way too fast. Is there any way to increase resistance ? how much would a replacement gamecube analog stick cost and where would I get one ?

I say just buy a official controller online and trash the old one.
