My Gamecube is on it's final legs. That thing needs to finally be retired so that it can enjoy it's last days, methinks.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
@theuser formerly known as Jenna: i beat my gamecube to death (not literally), but it was about to give out when the Wii came out. i was so excited to finally be able to issue its honorable discharge.
That's how it was for me at the beginning, bro, but then I went off to college. First year I left the Wii back at home because of my paranoia of it being stolen and instead took the Gamecube to take care of my console needs. It took it a couple of tries before it would read a disk, and it was slow as hell when it did. Really ticked me off at the halfway point in Tales of Symphonia when you have to change disks. I must have watched that cutscene fourteen times trying for the thing to read the second disk on the first try, because that's all it gave you, one try. Argh, horrible memories... D:

I think my GBA has the most hours clocked on it. Hoarding lives in Super Mario World and replaying Superstar Saga a gajillion times is pretty time-consuming!
I, like 60% of the other owners, played my 360 to death, repair, death again, another repair but still mostly dead and then finally all dead. Miracle Max couldn't save the thing. My SNES still works but has weird graphical gitches like making all text unreadable and sometimes the sprites look like pixel blobs, but the games still play.
My gamecube didn't die, but I played Melee so much on it, I was surprised it didn't die. I ended up selling it in perfect condition to a friend and one of his little brothers stuck a cookie in the disk drive. That proves that you should never sell a gamecube and 2 controllers for only $50. Well, atleast I still have my wii...

100% Gamecube. My first one broke because I played it so much, and my second one is still in pretty good shape, even though I don't use it any more because I can play Gamecube games on my Wii.

i went through like 4 ds's (not counting me curent dsi). my first ds was an origenal on then the L and R buttons broke and the top screen got craked and broke of, then i got another ds, i forgot how it broke but it did then i got a ds lite and the top screen fell off then i got another ds lite then traded it later on to get $75 off my dsi.
I still have my original launch SNES that I still play lots and has been played lots in the past. The thing is in bad shape though in one area. Don't know how this happened, but the back part of the SNES where you plug the power cord into is all messed up. I have to bend the cord to one side and use something to hold it there otherwise it shuts off on me. I am usually pretty careful with my systems, but I have moved a ton in the last five years and its possible something happened to it during one of my moves.
Oh also my PS1 has been played quite a bit. I'm having no problems with the motor on it which i hear eventually runs out but the lid isn't latching properly when i try and close it. I've played the hell out of it.
I played my original GBA to death...or at least until I couldn't use the left D-pad anymore.

I literally played the DS till death. It fell and the casing broke so I ordered a new casing, but apperently I broke the DS during the replacement so I had to buy the DS Lite.
