I am trying to find COMPLETE lists of n64 games, gamecube games, snes games, and nes games. I want a reliable 100%complete list. Ive googled many things but idk how reliable it is. I tried Nintendos offical websites Master Games List, but notice they are missing games. Do you know why? Its their official website. Shouldnt it contain all of the games ever released. For ex the n64 master games list on nintendo.com has 277 games. (Their site is North America released.) I know theres 296 n64 games released. So i found a complete n64 games list, but what about the others.

Nintendo's game lists only list licensed games. There might be a few canceled games that people just assumed were released.
So on the NES, it will exclude Tengen games (even the three licensed games, possibly because they were re-released without a license) as well as Color Dreams, AVE, Camerica/Codemasters, etc.
The SNES is only missing three non-retail games (Mountain Bike Rally/Speed Racer, Super Starfox Weekend and Donkey Kong Country Competition Cartridge). The only other "missing" game is Barbie Vacation Adventure, but that's because it was actually canceled. (it was so close to release that sites my list is as released because boxart and even a leaked ROM exist, but I think one of the first people to even notice was one emu author who set out to get a complete CIB set of every NA SNES game).
(I know in the earlier days of the Internet, the Genesis version of Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse was assumed released, but I guess because that was a port of a good game, people realized the error sooner. )
The only flaw I see with those lists is that when a game was re-released by a different publisher than the first print (such as the Star Wars games), Nintendo listed the reprint publisher with the original release month.

One other game I've wondered about is Castle Quest for the Game Boy (a port of a chess-RPG only released on the Famicom). An English ROM exists that most people assume was a US release, but I had never seen the game in any store ever (in 20 years of buying GB games, wow does that feel old), nor did I even see it previewed in any magazines back in the day. Eventually they started to say it was a EU release, and I have only recently seen that confirmed (well, if an amazon UK listing is enough proof).

Okay, missing N64 games from Nintendo's list:
Disney's Tarzan
International Track & Field 2000
International Superstar Soccer 2000
PGA European Tour
Razor Freestyle
Stunt Racer 64

Nintendo lists 292 games (6 pages of 48 each plus 4), but StarFox 64 and Conker's Bad Fur Day are each listed twice for some reason, so that's 290 games, plus the six above = the 296 games on Wikipedia.
Razor and the two Konami sport games were rentals, unsure about Tarzan, PGA and Stunt Racer.

Wait Nintendos master list lists 272 games not 290..

(the list I have is 7 pages. There's 48 games per page on each of 6 pages. 6x48 = 288. Plus 4 on the last page: 288 + 4 = 292. But there are two duplicates for whatever reason, 292 - 2 = 290.)

Oh, googling I see Nintendo made a new list. The one I have is a PDF from Nintendo's GameCube-era site. I don't know if that one is still available.
The online list has only 277. Well, time to find out what's been removed...
19 games missing:
All-Star Tennis '99
Armorines: Project Swarm
Buck Bumble
Conker's Bad Fur Day
F-Zero X
International Superstar Soccer 2000
Madden '99
Midway's Greatest
Namco Museum
Powerpuff Girls
Razor
Ridge Racer 64
Road Rash 64
Roadsters
Robotron
Rocket on Wheels
Rugrats Scavenger Hunt
SF Rush 2
Xena Warrior Princess
There should be one more missing, but I can't find it as it lists both Chef's Love Shack and South Park: Chef's Love Shack, making it only a total of 276 games.

QUEEN OF SASS

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

I don't know that you'll ever find a list that is 100% reliable, particularly for some of the older consoles. Unfortunately these things get lost in the mists of time.

I imagine the above suggestions are pretty good, but there's always the chance that some obscure game was left off a list somehow.

Even some (in hindsight) important details such as the actual release date of Super Mario Bros. in the US aren't known for sure!

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.
