I remember when I was just a toddler, my family would always be playing the NES while giving me the unplugged controller. I thought it was playing, because they did on the screen what I wanted them to do(or so it seemed), so I thought I was playing... Anyways, after that, they put it the storage room, but a couple years later when I was about 4.5 yars old, we pulled it back out and we hooked it up. My dad hooked it up, and when we put in Super Mario Bros. 3, we thought there was going to be no sound(because the title screen doesn't have sound), but I still decided to play anyway. We found out there was music, so we were really happy. Super Mario Bros. 3 was the first game I ever played, followed by other games we had which were Super Mario Bros., Mike Tyson's Punch-out, Bubble Bobble, Duck Hunt, M.C. Kids, Kung Fu, Gremlins 2, those are all I remember... What about you?
I remember playing the SNES with my bro, along with the N64. But my first personal console was the gamecube and I loved it. But as far as my first played game? Probably either mario world, donkey kong country, super mario kart, mario 64, or any zelda game at the time. Ah nostalgia.
Obviously it has had a defining role in my mental development.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Tetris for Gameboy. For non portable it was Wii sports or Resident Evil 4... yep.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
If handhelds count, it was a GameBoy Phat with Darkwing Duck. If they don't count, it was a GameCube with Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. (I was previously a Sega Genesis guy.)
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.

Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

My dad got an NES for Christmas. It came with Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt and the Zapper. I "adopted it" . Even my grandparents loved to see me play Mario. I played that game for hours. I even loved Duck Hunt.

When I was around 3 my brother had an SNES and that was probably the first console I ever played, but I don't really remember it. Anyway, he sold that and got an N64 sometime around 1997 or '98. The first game I remember playing was Super Mario 64 and the first game and system I owned was the Gamecube with Super Mario Sunshine.
Played (I think...): Console: SNES - Super Mario All Stars Handheld: GB Phat - Tetris Owned: Console: N64 - Super Mario 64 Handheld: GBC - Pokemon Blue (I think).
