It may of been Super Mario World, or maybe Super Mario 64, or Kart 64. And yet I love Sonic more than Mario.

I'm pretty sure the first game I played was Super Mario Kart, though I was such a young pixel (Only 8-bits old) I can't remember.

I'm not sure, the first game I remember playing is pac-man for GB. Funny, I hate pac-man nowadays.

Space Invaders is the first game I can clearly remember playing at the local 7-11. Naturally when the first arcade opened up in my neighbourhood (the now consigned to history Dennis' Place for Games) I was completely blown away by the sheer number and variety of games that existed. It was truly a golden age...

i just read that post on seanswiiworld.co.uk. that place sounds like the raddest spot ever. mirrored ceilings? so friggen sick! my arcade was a crowded/hot/loud/dark cave in the food court at the local mall. it wasn't much regarding aesthetics but i loved it anyways.

as for first game ever played? i would probably say it was duck hunt with the og zapper. (and i have loved light gun games since!)

It was glorious! Eagle (nee Moon Cresta) had a giant monitor and blaring speakers right near the front door near the Space Invaders Deluxe cabinet. I'd love to see some classic Nichibutsu games on the VCA in any region...
