It was October 17, 1980 at the local arcade/pool hall when I was 9 years old. The game was Asteroids.

I don't remember it clearly, but I remember my mom installing the Atari 2600, and giving me a flat blue control; I think it was a Sesame Street educational game; I actually enjoyed it, I mean, I was like 4 years old.

It was Pac Man. My parent's bought me Coleco's Pac Man Mini Arcade(Yes, it was an actual mini arcade cabinet) and that was my favorite thing ever before the NES came along. It was sooo cool!

For me it was Pong on an odd console that I even don't know the name of. It had two paddle-controllers and some switches. A turn-switch was for selecting one of the built-in games. They were: Pong, Pong, Pong and Pong. (Though it was named Football, Tennis, Squash and something else.)

Space Invaders is the first game I can clearly remember playing at the local 7-11. Naturally when the first arcade opened up in my neighbourhood (the now consigned to history Dennis' Place for Games) I was completely blown away by the sheer number and variety of games that existed. It was truly a golden age...

For me, it was the SMB/Duckhunt cartridge on the NES. I first remembered playing the game right before my family wanted a N64.

Tetris on the original Game Boy.

I was four years old, I could barely reach the GB in its shopping mall demo station and had basicly no idea what I was doing anyway. ^^ But I got amazed by it. Still am

I can't recall since I was very young in the early 80's but it was probably an arcade game.
My first NES game was Ghosts and Goblins

SpentAllMyTokens

Math Blasters on DOS...my mom caved to my whining and on an actual system it was Sonic 2 on Game Gear. She was skeptical of video games, but i turned out all right somehow (i think...)

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.
