I don't remember it clearly, but I remember my mom installing the Atari 2600, and giving me a flat blue control; I think it was a Sesame Street educational game; I actually enjoyed it, I mean, I was like 4 years old.

It was Pac Man. My parent's bought me Coleco's Pac Man Mini Arcade(Yes, it was an actual mini arcade cabinet) and that was my favorite thing ever before the NES came along. It was sooo cool!

For me it was Pong on an odd console that I even don't know the name of. It had two paddle-controllers and some switches. A turn-switch was for selecting one of the built-in games. They were: Pong, Pong, Pong and Pong. (Though it was named Football, Tennis, Squash and something else.)
Space Invaders is the first game I can clearly remember playing at the local 7-11. Naturally when the first arcade opened up in my neighbourhood (the now consigned to history Dennis' Place for Games) I was completely blown away by the sheer number and variety of games that existed. It was truly a golden age...

had a machine(cant remember what it was called)with one cart which contained 15 games,all variations of same thing.one was pong another u had to shoot a square which flew over the screen.it was paddle controlled and before atari 2600.yes i am old
I was four years old, I could barely reach the GB in its shopping mall demo station and had basicly no idea what I was doing anyway. ^^ But I got amazed by it. Still am
Combat for the Atari 2600! The game is a gold standard.

Math Blasters on DOS...my mom caved to my whining and on an actual system it was Sonic 2 on Game Gear. She was skeptical of video games, but i turned out all right somehow (i think...)
