What is the first video game that you ever took down? Mine was Super Mario World when I was 5 years old. I still remember jumping around the living room once I finally got that 6th and final hit on Bowser. To this day Super Mario World is still my favourite Mario game.

My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
I think i remember having seen a topic like this before. As for the first game i ever beat i assume it was one of the games on super mario all-stars cartridge(probably super mario world or super mario 2).
Edit:On closer inspectation the topic i posted in was one about the first game owned. Not first game beaten. Oh well.
It was probably Super Mario Land. The Game Boy Colour was my first console so it was definitely a game on that. I remember many of the first games I played, but I also remember not being able to beat many of them at the time.
I remember when I was younger there were plenty of games that I couldn't beat. I was stuck on the Poison Pond level in DKC for 9 months. The day I finally beat that level was the day I was able to beat the game lol.

I can remember the first game I ever played (Pokemon Blue), but not the first one I ever beat. It had to have been either Pokemon Blue or Super Mario World.

Fairly positive it was Super Mario Bros. I got it in 1985 along with Hogan's Alley, Gyromite, and Duck Hunt which all don't have a real ending other than rolling the score to the max.

I think it had to be either Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, or Donkey Kong Country. Either was a fantastic start though.

Pokemon Blue of course. Besides Pokemon? Power Rangers Rescue Force or something like that for the Gameboy Color...or was it Power Rangers The Movie for the Genesis? I know we got to the last stage in that, but I can't remember if we ever beat it...
Resident Evil when I was only 5 years old =w= cause I smashed from One Piece to many pieces, cause it was so real, then got another copy and beat it later
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
Sounds like you and my girlfriend have something in common as Pokémon Blue was the first game she ever beat as well. And I remember there was a Power Rangers game for the SNES that I loved as a child. Used to rent it all the time. I miss the old school side-scrolling beat 'em ups for sure.

Well, the first game I beat for a Nintendo system was probably Elmo in Grouchland for GBC... I didn't get off to a good start. (In fact, I never got good games until a while after I got my DS Light. Before then, my brother got games like Donkey Kong Country and Yoshi's island for his GBA, and I always got games like Monster's Inc. and Finding Nemo: The Continuing Adventures sigh)
I probably beat a few Humongous games and maybe MYST before that though.
