Topic: First game played and first game beaten?

I bet this has been asked a lot of times but i just wanted to ask two question. Feel free to share some memories and reminisce.
1. What was the first game you ever played?
2. What was the first game you ever beat?

For me the first game i ever played was super mario bros when i was 4 in 1996. My family really didnt have much money since i had 6 older brothers so we were behind in the gaming department but to me and my brothers didnt care and i still have fond memories of those times. the first game i beat was a link to the past a few years later and i loved it and still do.

I was around 3 and it was Super Mario World. The first game I beat was Donkey Kong Country and its going on 30 here some day soon.

I think the first game I played was California Games for Commodore 64 when I was like 3....not sure though. I know I played both Miner 2049er and some space defense game the same day on Atari 400 but I think California Games was earlier...

First game I beat was the original Dragon Warrior (I think) - I was 5. Way overleveled too--I think I hit cap at 30

I remember playing those games and i still think that they are some of the funnest games ever.

Is this Nintendo specific? If not then my first video game was hippity-hopping me way through traffic and crossing a raging river on Frogger for Atari. My first Nintendo game was like many, Super Mario Bros. What a jump up from Atari that was! From there I was hooked on Nintendo. I don't think I ever beat a game until Super Mario World years later on the SNES. I was not the best at video games when I was a youngster. But going back now and playing NES games on my original NES is a whole heckuva lot of fun!

Megaman X was my first game, but I didn't beat it until this summer when I was back home visiting family and had access to my old Super Nintendo again. THIS SUMMER. Sheesh, took me long enough.
As for my first game beaten, I...believe it was Kirby Super Star, also for the Super Nintendo.

I like to believe that it was Sonic 2 for the Sega Genesis. I secretly kind of doubt that, but I'll stick to wishful thinking for now.

First game I beat was either Power Rangers: The Movie for the Sega Genesis, or more likely Pokemon Blue for the Game Boy Color.

I can't remember what was the first game I ever I played. I'm guessing arcade or Atari 2600 game.

The first game I ever beaten was Double Dragon for the Atari 7800 in 1990.

First game Either something on the Gamecube or the Gameboy Advance SP.
First game beaten, Maybe Super Mario Sunshine it's the earliest I can remember beating.

Super Mario Brothers back in 1985 when I was 7 (Which coincidentally the NES was released on my 7th Birthday in NA but it wasnt till a few weeks later that I played it)

I dont remember to be honest the first one I really remember beating was Super Mario 2 but I am not sure if that was the first game I ever beat.

I think the first game I played was Pokemon Yellow. The first game I beat might have been Pokemon Gold. As you can see, I was raised on Pokemon

The Game Boy's Tetris was the first game i ever played.
TMNT : Fall Of The Foot Clan was the first game i ever completed.

The first game I ever played was either Super Mario Bros. or Marble Madness on the NES.

I really don't know what the first game I've ever beaten was, I'll just say it was probably something like Vanguard or Ikari Warriors on my dad's Atari 7800.

Beaten: Some N64 game that's not Banjo Kazooie (that game is tough for a five-year-old!)

I'm gonna say the first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. on NES. I'm not 100% sure but I think the first game I ever beat was Super Mario 64. It was a triumphant moment indeed
