Tie between Jet Force Gemini and Banjo-Tooie. Loved both when I was little. Both for N64, btw.

I just got Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts today, and only played a little bit of it, but I think it might become my new favorite Rare game!

I've always liked the Banjo-Kazooie series. It is just addicting for some reason.

I know a lot of people didn't like Tooie at all because, the overworld was to large & boring to explore,a lot of backtracking, and to many moves to learn.I do agree that the world was to big but I loved all the new moves added in the game, and I don't mind backtracking, and I found the game more fun and more challenging then Kazooie.
I thought Tooie was the superior as I didn't despise going back to the levels to get more notes that all re-appeared again because in Tooie, they don't re-appear. I found that very annoying and didn't like recollecting notes if I ever needed more.

Haven't played too many of the Rare games but I would say my favorite is Donkey Kong Country.

I suppose Banjo-Kazooie is my favorite "Pre-Microsoft" game. Never got to play much of the first sequel. My favorite modern game is Viva Piñata.

It's tough but if I can only pick one I'd say Donkey Kong Country 2.
If you haven't played this game, please download it on VC. One of the best games I've ever played in my whole life, no exaggeration.

I agree with that one guy I'm too lazy to quote. Nuts & Bolts is a fine game.

Donkey Kong Country. Great level design, solid platforming.
I made Kid Tripp! PocketGamer gave it a 9 out of 10! You should totally buy it now!

Besides Nintendo, Rare is hands down my favorite video game company. I love all of their games, in particular, Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, DK64...
But beyond that, my favorite of my favorites is Conker's Bad Fur Day. Best video game soundtrack, incredible graphics and effects without even the use of an expansion pack, tight controls, great voice acting, and of course, better still,
Genius multiplayer, my best party trick. Death Match, or Total War? Four controllers? Your set for a good time.
