Topic: Electronics Boutique Game Boy Red

Hi everyone,

I have a red electronics boutique game boy with box and accessories in working order. It was given to my sister when she worked there.

I'm trying to decide whether to sell or not, but can't find anything about the value of them and can't see any on ebay.

Any ideas??

Never heard of it, so I doubt you'd easily find a value.

is it just a preowned gameboy with an EB box?

can you post pictures? is that it in your avatar? seems like a regular game boy, perhaps bought from EB. sell it for whatever you want, $2, $200, find the value on other game boys being sold and decide yourself!

The console was one given to managers at UK EB games stores as gifts. If I remember it was to celibrate EB taking over Future Zone back in 1995.

Doesn't say it actually sold, though.
And by "is being sold", you mean "is being listed". Does not mean it will actually sell. Is the point to make when using ebay as a reference.

@KingMike: No I agree it doesn't mean it will sell at that price. But it's the price that the current seller is asking and they have most likely based that on search results like one on Nintendo Age where in 2013 someone posted saying that a £350 EB GB was "snapped up" for £350.

I was just giving the information that about what is currently listed and what has been listed. As well as a bit about the console.

£350 is not out of the realm of possibility for what the system could sell for due to rarity. If there is a market for it at that price.

I remember someone get a "flappy hand" happy over an "extra rare" original Game Boy with world flags in the screen surround. They brought it for $300 and were smug, until someone pointed out it was a after market replacement screen surround which was sold by a company who advertised in the back of gaming mags back in the 90's.

Nice snag, yours looks a lot cooler than my weird GBC. I have a Yellow "Tommy Hilfiger" GBC that isn't worth sh*t,

@-Godot: Check eBay. I hate the jacked up prices but it gives you an idea what people are asking for the same as yours.
