Topic: Donkey Kong Land series

So way back when, Donkey Kong Land 3 was my first Gameboy Color game (along with Super Mario Land 2) but sadly I don't think I ever beat it. I've been a huge fan of the DKC games since they came out though. Is it worth hunting down the Land games on ebay or something? Is there a better place to get them??

That all being said, money is an object for me. I'm kind of cheap. I more fully complete the DK games I have I looked at Barrell Blast on Wii too but it has horrible reviews and is like 15 at cheapest where I find the first DKL game at like 6 bucks...just not sure what to do. I wish they would put them on the 3DS VC but that will never happen.

I personally don't think DK Barrel Blast is quite as bad as a lot of reviews make it out to be. It's certainly not a fantastic game, but it's pretty fun and worth at least trying out.

As for the Donkey Kong Land games, I used to own the second game and it was pretty good. Donkey Kong Land 2 and 3 take a lot more inspiration from their SNES counterparts than the first DKL. You can find them on Half.com (which is run by eBay) for about $5 each.

That's not too bad. With Barrel Blast I've got too many other games coming out to spend 15 bucks on it right now I think.
