eh, I've been downloading retro games more than getting the physical copies. but it's good for one thing, you don't have to see the game being screwed up when you boot it up, when the game is in bad condition XD

For me it's becuause I heard a lot of people whine about the DSi not having GBA and wanted GBA on DSi Shop, heck people are whining about DS games not on 3DS eShop, yet they seek out physical copies??? How does that work?

i download as well, but none of my physical copies screw up, if you clean them right, they will last forever and they will work everytime

The problem is that I've heard Flash memory used in like half the GBA games and all DS games isn't as long lasting as older generations, and that in 10 years you might not have a choice but to pirate the games you already legally own.

thats interesting as well, i just put a new battery in circle of the moon gba, things like this is why im hoping 3ds will carry a larger variety of portable games

Absolutely, as long as the game isn't too expensive and I actually have the console (obviously). I go where they best deals are but prefer physical when possible, theres still something special (and nostalgic) about playing a game on the original machine. When all else fails I at least try to get as close to the feel of the original hardware as possible.

I download retro games if I can, but if I see a game that is not available for download that I want, I will buy it.

Yep, I always buy physical copies, never download them. Even if I have to spend weeks, months or even longer before I can get my hands on it I'll always wait to buy the physical copy.

Vedy' nice.
Ya, I'm not a fan of 'retail' new release downloads be it games or movies. I like to have something physical, where i can check out the box art, manual, cart, whatever and build up an awesome collection.

I usually download when I can for retro games - unless I can get them cheaper in physical (in decent condition), especially for GB games - where I can actually get the added colour that the 3DS VC decides is unimportant..

I make Pixel Art on occasion, and sometimes sell them as Game Assets.
