Topic: Did anyone actually use the carrying handle for the Gamecube to carry it?

I didn't. Never had a reason to take it anywhere plus I'd just put it in a bag with the games I was taking with it if I was going to.

Yep, wasn't really taking it anywhere though just felt like using the handle for no real reason, carried it to the song "too sexy for this shirt" by some bald 1 hit wonder.

I for one never used the handle.

I have a small purple velvet pillow that I would place the GamCube on and carry it around above my head like I was transporting the royal jewels. Of course I would pay someone to drop rose petals as before my feet as I walked. Just seemed unnatural any other way.

Yes. Excellent method of clubbing buglars/trespassers/relatives around the head before locking them in the basement.

The system is too fat to grab with just one hand, so I use the handle, not that I ever take it anywhere, but just for taking it out to set it up and then storing it away when I'm done.

I carried it to my job a few times by the handle. I used to be assistant manager at a failing pizza franchise, and on the slowest days hours would go by with nothing to do but play vidya games. Not a bad way to make 8$ an hour...

didnt have a cube. my xbox didnt have one. i could have used that though on the one lan-party where i was xD

There was many times when I was transporting my GCN over to friends houses or other rooms in my house that
I would use the handle. Just wrap up the chords and grab the handle. It looked like I was a Ghostbuster carrying a ghost trap
around. It was awesome and very useful.

Hah, I never thought of that and it totally does. I used it whenever I took it to other places since it was so light and easy, a great idea in my opinion, but not mandatory.

Lol thats exactly what I felt like when I carried it lol. And thats a yes just in case you couldnt figure that out. I use to move it from the front room to the bedroom so I figured might as well use the handle thats why its there, isnt it?

I only used it whenever I had to move the 'Cube from one room of the house to another...

I pretty much never move a console once I hook it up the first time the only console I did move around alot was the N64 so no I never used the handle.

I took it some places sometimes, and I would carry it in a bag with my other GC stuff in it, but when I took it out I would always use the handle to move it to it's destination. It's a lot nicer than having to use both hands.
