A couple of months ago a good friend and I posted a Legend of Zelda wall to Reddit and the response was awesome.
While we had no intention of making a business of this we had so many people asking us to sell our custom mounts that we decided to try to make them for people.
When we came back to Reddit 4 months later people were much less interested. We are not sure why but I'm thinking it's because /r/gaming really isn't our target audience. I'm reaching out to directly related communities now to find out if there really is a niche for us to fill at all.
We need to find people who love retro video games as much as we do. We have no intention of spamming your forums so if we have run afoul of any of your polices we apologize and will go away. But we really do think this is something you might be interested in.
At the very least, as avid collectors, we'd love your input on what we are doing.
Even if you don't have any interest in the Kickstarter, we'd love to find ways to help folks get their games out of the attic and in to their living spaces. Thanks
