Topic: Concerns with this new "Supaboy."

I will start off by saying that the SNES is my favorite console, though I have never owned one. I've wanted one for a while, and this seems to be right up my alley, except for two major factors: The battery life is only 2.5 hours apparently, and The description says that it plays "multiple SNES and Super Famicom games," but that worries me that a lot of them will be unplayable. I've looked all over for a list of games that do/don't work for it, but as it is new, I have found no luck.

I was intending to get a 3DS around Christmas. This really looks cool, but it sounds like a dangerous buy if it turns out it can only play a few games, even if some of the more popular ones (Super Mario World, All Stars, and Link to the Past for instance) do work. I hope some of you have had some experience and know what does and does not work.

It seems that every game might work for the system. If the Superscope and Mouse peripheral work on the system, then all games must work. I know that this is pretty dumb logic, but hey, it kind of makes sense.

I've heard that some games people have tried will not load. Yes, the peripherals all working leads to that assumption, but the games themselves might not necessarily.

I've got one on the way and I'll be putting it through its paces with my vast SNES/SFC collection of games and peripherals.

Plain old gamer :)

Sweet, tell me how that works out. I honestly have a very small retro collection. And most of that is on the Wii's VC, which I only have 6 games for...

I've been interested in getting into these games for a while, though. I've always been a SNES fan, as my cousin has one, and we would spend the entire day playing Super Mario World whenever I went down there. I remember being horrible at it, but we still had a blast.

The reason I've been getting into it recently is that I got an N64 from my local Youth Center for helping out there all the time. We were trying to hook-up some old systems, and I think they had eight N64s, and when we could get a specific one to work, I took it home to look at it and we replaced it with one of the others. For some odd reason, it worked fine at my house so they said to just keep it. I happened to receive my friends second copy of Goldeneye before he moved in the summer, so that was a lucky coincidence.

I already own the original snes with no yellow coloring on it , but this is definitely a worthy buy for those who love the SNES

I hate to bump, but I really would like a good answer to my question soon. If it is hard to understand, I basically want to know if there are any games that I would want but won't be able to play with the SupaBoy. Thanks.

You might want to give people time to actually get it. I'm sure Corbs will let us know about it after he has received it and spent some time with it. If you are in such a hurry, do us a favor and you get it and tell us what games it works with. Thanks.
