Super Metroid is my favorite videogame of all time, although I reckon it won't have the same impact if played for the first time today than it had back when it was released.
Other M is my favourite, i just love the controls and its a lot of fun, even if it had its faults. Echoes is also real good, but had some tough bosses, and the original one is good fun apart from when youre dying repeatedly and having to track all the way back from the start over and over

I first played the fantastic Super Metroid somewhere in the mid-2000's because I was silly kid and somehow missed out on it when it was released. But anyway, even playing it then for the first time it made quite an impact on me. So much so in fact that it ranks as my 2nd favorite video game! I read your review and agree a lot with you say. Games of today I play through once and then I am pretty much done with them but Super Metroid is a game I will continue to go back to again and again.
