So, at the gentle urging of my wife, I started going through my big pile o'stuff. I assume every retrogamer has one of these (except you people who have everything organized and on display).
Hsha yeah I used to keep all my stuff on display but most is stored with my mother and father until we move into the new house we are building (which fortunately has a proper display area for everything... in the bedroom) however the other day I had to go through some old boxes there looking for another Wii remote and amongst all the good there was also contained amongst other things...
A copy of Boulder Dash for the GB.
Two Wii sensor bars who knows where they came from.
A copy of the expansion for CIV 2 (don't remember the name and never actually owned CIV 2).
A handful of original Xbox Duke controllers.
Vexx for the Xbox the most generic game I've ever played even now I get a headache remembering how boring it was.
So many pointless accessories for Wii remotes that again I have no idea where they came from.
Kid Klown for the SNES
Cool Boarders 2 for PSone.
A knock off third party N64 rumble pack with a broken intensity toggle.
@embison That Game Boy player start up disc is rather valuable as it is usually lost. Even if you don't have the player anymore you definitely could sell the disc. I have seen several videos of people mentioning a lot of Gamecubes turn up with the player but lacking the disc.

@Heavyarms55 I have been reminded how glad that I had gotten my disc in the years after release that Nintendo still had the disc for sale.
So while there probably were a number of extras produced as replacements, it is probably still a limited commodity.
Though new GameCube controllers probably won't be very scarce for awhile thanks to Smash games (I'm assuming the new Smash controllers made for the GC adapters could be used on original consoles, otherwise there wouldn't be a point to the adapters, versus being made as GC-shaped Pro Controllers)
@KingMike Yeah the new controllers are indeed just exact replicas, minus the Gamecube logo. Still, from what I gather, the GB player discs are a solid 40-50 dollar item on the resale market. Making them one of the more valuable Gamecube discs at the moment.

I think the MOST valuable Game Cube disc is the US version of Pokemon Box which is like $200.
Do people really want to play Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire on a Wii that badly?
Then again Melee is one of the common games and yet is still as pricey as some of the "rare" games (I remember there was one rare sports game that probably goes for about as much, probably because it's a rare sports game. )
A DS Lite with a broken mic. The upper screen also is less bright than the bottom one. Thinking about it, it could've been a refurbished unit all this time, but to my 13 year old self back in 2010, it was all I needed.
A GP2X Wiz. It's a very rare portable but I just don't use it anymore.
A Dingoo a320. Played it the last time in 2016. The screen now seems a bit small for me. Dunno.
A discman (not gaming related but...)
Two PS1 memory cards
Some PS2 games (I don't even own one anymore)
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
its time for all of you to get rid of all those crappy n64 games.

Not so much a pile of random stuff but more so a drawer. It contains
a broken pink ds lite,
a broken psp,
A pair of broken grey joy-con controllers
my old launch model blue 3ds,
My bootleg gba games,
My bootleg atari 2600 games,
Mario 64, ocarina of time and dk64,
All my gba, gbc and gb games,
A few sd cards,
A touch control remote that I never use for my tv.
Probably more but I forgot, it’s the drawer of my coffee table between my couch and tv so it’s a strange place to store that stuff.
