Why does the second one remind me of Tower of Doom from the Intellivision?

Those games look neat. People reallly know how to take advantage of the VCS's limited hardware capabilities.

Oh, my God, Juno First has officially the best Atari 2600 graphics I've yet witnessed. I am appalled...and in a good way. :)

I think the Atari 2600 and NES are the two most beloved classic video game systems.

Dungeon (or whatever it was called) looks seizure inducing.

Dungeon looks like Tower of Doom for the Intellivision to me. I'm pretty sure INTV fans would agree.

I own Stella's Stocking. I bought it over 2 years ago at the Atariage store. The Atari 2600 homebrew scene has been active for a very long time.

I own more homebrew Atari 7800 games than Atari 2600 games though. The Atari 7800 has great homebrew arcade ports and that is my excuse.

Is Dungeon by Maus? That looks suspiciously like his handiwork...

Edit: Nope. It was sc07. The game was done with bBasic, giving it that distinct look. Things have come quite a ways since I wrote Deimos Lander in an early version of bBasic. :)

Someone also apparently did a really great Ladybug port as well. If only we had some Universal arcade games on the VC...

That was a Champ Games production. John Champeau has been doing really great clones of classic arcade games since the DOS days. You can see more of his work here:

Awesome! When are these games gonna be in store? :D

The only thing that gives pirates a chance against ninjas is the ability to grow awesome beards. Other than that, they're completely outmatched.

Right here: http://www.atariage.com/store/

You'll need to acquire a 2600 or 7800 if you don't already have one. ;)
