hey all, i recently have gotten the itch to start playing my old SNES system, re live the childhood memories and such,
anyways i have a 50 inch panasonic tv, and for some reason i am getting these color bars that keep scrolling up and down my TV its brutal and i cant play this way. i just connected the SNES to an older tv of mine and it works just fine...
here are pics of what im dealing with
they just keep scrolling up and down my screen and its brutal.
is there anything i can do to correct this problem?

Not really with a newer tv. The best thing to do is get yourself a CRT TV and use that to play your retro consoles on. Thats the set up I have and it works great.

Like Tasuki said, get a CRT tube tv. Zero lag, better PQ and you'll get a greater dose of Nintendo Nostalgia vs playing it on a modern HDTV. Anyways, i have no idea what the funk is going on with your plasma, the only possible thing i can think of is that Donkey kong and the crew are throwing a rave party inside your TV. You could post this in the AVS plasma forums. you'll get an answer pretty quick!
For starters you should be displaying your SNES games in 4:3/Fullscreen.

Some how I knew @Waveboy was going to pop into this thread.
Yeah all my consoles from the NES to the Wii are hooked up to my CRT TV. The only systems I have hooked up to my Plasma is the Wii U and the Xbox 360.
