To put it simply, there's two types of HDMI port - HDMI-IN, and HDMI-OUT.
Your SNES Classic has an HDMI-OUT port. It needs to be connected to an HDMI-IN port.
Your desktop PC has an HDMI-OUT port (to connect to a monitor's HDMI-IN port). It's quite unlikely that your PC also has an HDMI-IN port.
But if you've got a desktop PC, you've presumably got a monitor/TV for it, so you should be able to connect directly to that with your SNES (maybe needing an adapter if your monitor doesn't have HDMI).
I've never written HDMI so many times in my life. Livin' it!
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Found out about the HDMI IN/OUT ports not too long ago. And I think you need certain graphic cards to run HDMI systems through PC. Pretty sure NVidia does this, but they're not cheap. I thought mine had it, I'm not entire sure.
