For about a month ago I bought Donkey Kong Classics for the NES at a fair-market. When I put in the game and start my NES, the title screen just is blinking, and even the sound is coming on and off. I tried to clean my game but that did not help. So, I thought that It might be my NES that is not working correctly. So I put in 4 different games and they all worked great. So I have no idea what's wrong with my game. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?

Some NES games have badly corroded contacts. You can try the following: Take window cleaner and put it on a q-tip and rub both sides while applying some pressure for a few minutes. Then take a dry q-tip and dry the contacts. Now test the cartridge in your NES. If it runs - fine, else start over. This has worked for me everytime, even with cartridges where the contacts didn't even look like metal anymore.

I will summon @ogo79, the master of retro game and system care and repair ...
In the meantime, don't use window cleaner, use isopropyl alcohol. I'll let @ogo79 give you his tips once he pokes he sexy bald head in here, as they never fail.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
