Been buying up a few snes & megadrive games lately and I was thinking of modifying my old PAL consoles to make them capable of 60hz- is there any reccomended cables to buy to get superior picture quality? So far I'm just using an old old S-Video cable for my snes and it looks okay though the colours feel a tad washed out.

The thing is the PAL RGB Scart cable has resistors on it that stop it looking washed out.
Get the cable from - http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/ (Other people just sell stuff like N64 or Gamecube cables as right - Might be a tiny bit more expensive than getting an ebay one but at least they will be right. He also sells the replacement controller pad's for controllers (The good quality ones that you have to get from the USA from Ebay)).
Don't know much about PAL region bit was going to point out same assembler post as unrandomsam did. Glad he posted it cause never know when mods on NL will flip out over something being posted like that.
