Usually halfway into the next generation, systems start being termes "retro." Its because we live in a day and age where movies are only in theatres for a few months now before DVD, possibly representing our short attention spans.

That sucks. And talking about the Movie industry, I can still go out and buy older movies (I'm talking about old 50s westerns here) on DVD. Sure there's Remakes, ports and retro complations, but why must games become "discontued" so quick!?

It's not nearly as big a market.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

to pick a number one is hard but some noteable ones are for sure eternal darkness, resident evil 4, skies of arcadia legends, melee, and then so many more but i havent seen anyone put eternal darkness or skies of arcadia legends and if you havent played those two games then you are truely missing out

Fire Emblem and Tales of Symphonia.

I never owned a gamecube, but have since had a go at a few gamecube titles since owning my Wii. My favourites so far are Legend of Zelda: Windwaker (don't let the cell shading put you off... the brilliance of the animation is excellent) and Ikaruga. I never got past the third level in Ikaruga, but it is a fantastic shooter worth owning.

Resident Evil 4 is an easy choice for number 1
followed by Melee, then TimeSplitters 2.

Where to start? Eternal Darkness, Mario Kart Double Dash, Resident Evil 4, LoZ: Twilight Princess, TimeSplitters 2, Burnout 1 & 2, Battalion Wars, Smash Bros. Melee, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance, LoZ: Wind Waker, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, F-Zero GX, Extreme-G III, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Beyond Good and Evil, XIII, Pikmin 1 & 2, Viewtiful Joe, Soul Calibur II, Animal Crossing, Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 (not Adventure), Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine.

Want any more?

First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.

Resident Evil 4 and Baten Kaitos Origins

Hey Punk!! Are you TUFF E NUFF??

I-Ninja. I know, I know, but I love that game to this very day.

Plain old gamer :)

super smash bros. melee

Not sure which is the best Gamecube game but one that I think improved on the N64 version and is often overlooked would be Wave Race: Blue Storm.

Melee is the best exclusive, followed by F Zero GX, and Metroid Prime.

Then for non-exclusives Tales of Symphonia and Soul Calibur II are top class.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is prolly really good too though.

I don't have a favorite gamecube game of all time but I will list some of the best ones

Sonic Mega Collection
Sonic Gems Collection
Mega Man X Collection
Mega Man Anniversary Collection
Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures
Metroid Prime 1 and 2
Star Fox Assualt and Adventure
Super Smash Bros Melee
Super Mario Sunshine

My favorite GCN game?

I'd Pick Resident Evil 4, and I'll go out and say it's the best game in the last genartion...

How's that huh? lol

Begging For: Pikmin 3, Super Little King's Story, Star Wars Battlefront 3.
Onslaught: 2707-7055-9313

I havent tried so many Gamecube games but my favorites are:
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
Super Mario Sunshine.
Super Smash Bros Melee.

Wind Waker
I know loads of people hate it, but the ocean gives the game incredible depth. I even think that Twilight Princess is nothing when compared to the vast universe of Wind Waker. I wish people would just cope with the cell shaded graphics because it is one of the best looking and stylish games on the gamecube.
