Batman Returns on the SNES is my favorite.

Batman for NES. It is interesting how much game was changed during final beta and retail build:

I wonder what prompted such large scale changes, and on last minute. The video also explains why the last level is so painfully hard with two boss fights on the row. Originally Sunsoft had meant that you wouldn't fight against Joker at all.

Batman for the NES was awesome! I also liked Batman for Genesis. I think both of these games were made by Sunsoft. I wish they would bring both games to the Virtual Console!

I believe Sunsoft is long dead, so that doesn't seem likely.

Nintendo did advertise that VC would have Sunsoft games, and if I remember correctly, some of them have been released in the Japan. Dunno who owns the rights.

Well, I guess its not impossible, then. We can always hope!

Batman The Caped Crusader for the C64 is the only good one I can think of.

Batman Returns for the SNES is one of the most enjoyable beat-em-ups of that era.

Here is my top 5 along with what systems they are on and why.

1. Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) Quite possably the best Batman game ever.
2. Batman Returns (SNES) One of the best video games based off of a movie thats ever been made.
3. Lego Batman (Xbox 360, PC, PS3, Wii) Its Legos and Batman what other reason do you need to like this game.
4. Batman Return of the Joker (NES) The graphics were really nice for its days I actually like this game better than Batman.
5. Batman (Gameboy) One of the first Gameboy games I got so it holds a soft spot in me. Again I liked this game more than its NES counter part.

Sunsoft would be awesome if they could find a way to release the original on the VC.

Never did care much for Batman Returns.

Am I the only one that enjoyed Batman Begins? Probably. Anyway, Batman: The Animated Series is good, but it's incredibly difficult. I want to get my hands on a Batman Returns cart badly.

Heh, exactly how i'd rank the games, with a possible substution of the first NES game in place of Return of the Joker.

I'd love to put Batman Beyond (N64) on the list since i love that extension of the franchise, but the game really wasn't too good at all.
