Does anyone remember this? Bart's essay blew out of the window while he was asleep, and he must skateboard through Springfield while collecting all the papers along the way. Collecting them all will result in an A+ while a game over results in an F.

I remember that game. My favorite level was the one where Bart was Godzilla and at the end of the level you had to fight Homer as King Kong.

I've heard of it, but I've never actually played it (that will change someday). I hope it's better than Virtual Bart.

It was better than Virtual Bart, I can promise that much.

The reviews I've read of Bart's Nightmare over the intervening years have made it sound awful, but I owned it (and quite liked it) as a kid. It's likely there's some nostalgia attached that's making me remember it as better than it actually was, but I am quite confident in saying it's miles better than Virtual Bart.

Nah, it's just that I think you really need the manual to figure out what to do (at least in Windy World).

I have the Genesis version. The overworld isn't very good, but most of the games are pretty enjoyable, except I can't ever beat any of them, meaning the best grade I can ever get is a D-.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
