Its really sad, but thats what interesting about Animal Crossing, it really does show a quite different way of thinking towards game design, focused upon the passing of time and relationships between the characters and players. I'm glad games like this exist among the supposedly 'mature' pap that we see so much of these days.

I was listening to Hook music (from the movie) while reading that, and it almost teared me up, and that's something I never particularly do nowadays with stories.
