Hello Nintendo Life Users

I have owned Animal Crossings: City Folk (or Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City in Europe) for years after I bought for my birthday. I only played it once or twice and decided the series was not for me. With the announcement New Horizon, I decided to give Animal Crossing another chance but instead of digging up my old copy of City Folk from storage, I purchase New Leaf. At first, my impression was much the same as City Folk...I had no interest in play more of New Leaf. So, the Animal Crossing Direct came last week which inspired me to try New Leaf one more time. I have been absolutely hooked into it since. So, would it worth it to give City Folk another look, should I just move on to New Horizon when it launches. Also, I still intend to buy New Horizon whether or not I play City Folk again which also maybe another factor to skip City Folk. I guess I am asking if City Folk aged well enough to stand out among New Leaf and New Horizon, or has City Folk have been completely outdated?

City Folk is practically a version of Wild World with better graphics, but honestly, New Leaf is better.

If you want to try and play City Folk, go for it, it just feels like it's lacking so much next to New Leaf.

I guess City Folk would be worth it to check out some and see its place in the series, but it's so bare-bones compared to New Leaf, and especially New Horizons, that I don't think you'll want to invest too many hours into it. And with New Horizons coming out, you'll be sinking all your hours into that anyways.
