ive just downloaded ALTERED BEAST for the virtual console arcade and i did notice that when its says RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE and POWER UP that it sounded fuzzy im not sure why that is, cos ive also downloaded it from XBOX LIVE and the speech is crystal clear no fussyness in it at all,i was wondering if any body else as experianced it.

If you have dropped a quarter and played it standing up, you would hear the same thing. It sounds to be a true emu from the arcade.

It didn't sound horrendously fuzzy to me, but then I haven't played the 360 version.

Altered Beast just isn't Altered Beast without the poorly digitised speech, though. And the appalling gameplay, but that's for another time.

its not horrendously fuzzy,it just sounds fuzzy compared to the XBOX LIVE version,plus ive downloaded it on MAME and its crystal clear like the 360 version,i was just wondering why it is a bit fuzzy on the virtual console and not MAME or the XBOX LIVE version.

I've downloaded it on MAME and I cannot tell the difference from this VCA version -- I am running it on the Japanese Wii, however, so maybe it's different elsewhere?
