sup all.... i have the 4 in one retro adaptor for the nintendo wii... some of u might ask ... what is a 4 in 1 adaptor???? the 4 in one adaptor lets u play ur virtual console games using the nes , snes , gensis and n64 controllers....for u retro gamers like me its pretty good to have but its not with out its flaws....the nes gensis and snes control part works great.......the n64 part of thing is a mixed bag kind of....anlong stick works great ....mario 64 works like it would with on a nintendo 64.....the legend of zelda instead of z targeting u would use the l button on the 64 controller witch is a bad place.. but the other buttons work flawless...mario kart u have to use down c to use items ....i did find this thing to be some what diffrnent than the classic controller.....earthworm jim is a good example....on the classic controller the three gensis buttons are mapped to y, b ,and a and the super nintendo controller u use as a adptro the gensis buttons would be mapped to x, a, and b......the n64 controller works on nes games but super nintendo games it will not work due to the buttons not being mapped for the controller.....all i had in donkey kong country was jump with b and move and the a button tagged .....i did have alot of fun out of this adaptor i played a few of my game cube games with it...alot of gamecube games use the anlog stick few dont like spider man and crazy tazy taxi...spiderman with snes controller was fun but the z zip was the select button..and i even tryed re4 wii edtion....snes controller works great with the re4 wii edtion.....over all so far i give it a 8 out of ten....as of right now ( opion could change) i would go with the classic controller over this adptor...... i played with this on a hdtv and seen no lag what so ever in my buttons.. i do have compont cables for the wii so that might make a diffrence in lag ....if u all have any qustions feel free to post them and i will try to answer them....have fun all and happy gaming......

Paragraphs and punctuation, please. I was actually curious to read what you had to say.

I get the impression that it's decent enough for what it is. I'm happy enough with my RetroUSB NES adapter.

is the retro nes adaptor cool to have ???????????

Yeah, very cool. I have one for my Wii as well as a USB-one for my PC emulators. Works perfectly. Plus, you can use an NES controller with some other VC-system games like Sega Master System and TurboGrafix16 (as well as with some homebrew/emulators if you have your Wii hacked). I love using it in particular with my NES Advantage. I love that controller!

Considering you can play NES games with a Wiimote similarly to the NES controller, I find that port pointless

u can play n64 games too wiht a n64 controller too... u can also play gamecube games with the n64 controller.... the anlog works wiht it...

N64 controllers suck anyway. The analog sticks break so easily

Yeah, i get that. Though i usually use it with the Advantage (yay good joystick! particularly enjoyable for my HBC emulators like Stella for Wii), it's more of a "sometimes i just prefer playing games with their original controllers" thing. Plus, i have big hands so sometimes prolonged use of the sideways-Wiimote can get uncomfortable.

I mostly agree with this. Sometimes I use my Genesis-to-Gamecube adapter because some Genesis games feel awkward with either the CC or wiimote.

I guess if you really, really have to have the old-skool feel, it can be fun. But I stick with the remote for my NES and TG16 games and the Classic Controller for all else. It's worked for me from day one.

Though it's kinda cute how you can use the real deal NES controller to play the WiiWare Mega Mans.

Dear Sega and Nintendo: a Sonichu game would totally rock, make it happen!

I'm happy with using the Wii Remote for NES, Classic Controller for SNES/Mega Drive and GameCube Controller for N64.

The games I have played all work best when I stick to this so I don't feel temted to buy such an adapter.

i just got the adpator to get it .... i admit my self i like the classic controller .......i even like the classic controller for n64 games as weird as it sounds......if u just want to use the old controllers its nice to have ..........

I would love a nice white N64 classic controller with rumble. Sure, all the games work with the GCN controller, but still, I'd shell out the cash for it, because that's just how I am.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

I would love one of these adaptors and would really love playing VC games with their proper controllers but I just havn't got the room for more clutter near my TV plus I just can't go back to wired controllers . I still can't believe Nintendo and Sega haven't cottoned on to the idea of releasing wireless Wii versions of their retro controllers.I reckon they would sell out instantly.

What's this bit for again?

ocarinaoftime

wireless would be a good idea....... wires are mess at times..........
