The machines are 3/4 size and feature authentic artwork and have 4 to 5 classic arcade games on.
Apparently these machines were announced at E3 but that news slipped me by. Pre-orders are now open for the North American region and cost a reported 300-400 dollars.
Naturally, I have questions regarding build quality of the cabinets and the quality of the screens used, the controllers and what hardware/emulation is going to be used, stuff like that.
So just wanted to share this announcement and ask if anyone out there knows any more about these arcade machines for the home and whether you too are interested in purchasing one?
I'll try and stick some more links to relevant info below:
@Mrtoad I believe the FINAL FIGHT cab has been delayed to 2019?
However, there seems to be more and more information coming out about these machines and other cabs from 1Up Arcade all the time. Best to check their website and some YouTube reviews as machines have been sent out for people to 'preview'.
How nice for all you rich guys that can just blow hundreds of dollars on those things. I'll just stick with modding thanks. I don't really think the money is worth two lousy games.

Honestly I've always loved these games and I've always dreamed of having a home arcade, so these were worth it for me when I saw it at Walmart for $250, it isn't for everyone.
Those are good but would it kill them to include more than a couple games? I looked up the Pac-man one and guess what. No miss Pac-man. I'm like what? Seriously? Why not!? Oh and the Mortal Kombat one is tempting. I just think if they wanted it to be a complete arcade collection why not include every game released in arcades meaning MK 4 as well. The thing is 250 dollars. What makes it so high? The monitor? the wood box that the whole thing is set up in? I don't get it.
