Topic: 1942 vs 1943 for NES

I like 1943, and was wondering if 1942 was worth getting as well?

Not nearly as good. Much slower and lacks most of the power ups and cool bosses.

1943 is a better game, though i personally like 1942 better. But yes, it is a much slower and more basic game. Still fun though, so if you really like 1943 it may be worth it.

1943 is better, but I have a lot of nostalgia for 1942. If I had to choose I would pick 1942. If you like this style of game look into Sky Shark by Taito for the NES. It a clone of the aforementioned titles, but in many ways is just as good or better.
