Another Amstrad kid here, though a couple of my best friends had Spectrums. Huge overlap in software, there. My favourite Amstrad games were probably the Dizzy puzzle adventures (especially Treasure Island Dizzy and Fantasy World Dizzy), which I actually first played on a Spectrum; North and South (a beautiful Infogrames strategy/arcade title); and Batman: The Movie and Licence to Kill. Movie tie-ins were big in those days...
Best game, though, was Bard's Tale. I spent so many hours on that old-school RPG, staring at a blurry old CRT screen, I used to get migraines.
Very quite, I thought things would get busy. I see how dear retro games and hardware have got on amazon, it's £80 sterling for a spectrum light gun. I only paid £5 old Irish pound for one 30 years ago . I have a spectrum +2A I bought new 30 years ago , but strange with it, it has +2 on the front the board inside reads +2A on the screen and the back of it says +2B. Anyone else got one of these.???? 👷👷👷👷👷
@Ninfan There is good news. The ZX Spectrum Next first batch is starting actual production this month and will continue through next month too. So I’ll be getting mine soon, if all is well. If I were you I would keep an eye open for details on the planned second batch.

@Ninfan You can keep a look out on the official Facebook page for the ZX Spectrum Next (just don’t pay attention to the fact people have a habit of moaning on there - it’s the internet and that always is going to happen). Or they may announce it on the official ZX Spectrum Next website assuming it’s updated.

@Ninfan The production is still ongoing but they are sending out the systems this month, all the pieces are now here in the U.K. being assembled so just a matter of time. To answer your question about the SD card port, yes they all have that as the way in which you load games rather than cassette tapes which is great news.

I got a download code from eBay with 23,000 zx spectrum games. id say 10,000 are of rereleases demos from magazines, but the question I have does anyone know a place to find out how to work ANY type of emulator. the emulator they gave me looks very good but I haven't a clue how to work it.
@aquinas1776 you tube videos are really very good to get (<dol>) going have a look i think you need blue tooth to use a wii remote. i posted here cause i need help with a EmuZWin zx spectrum (<emu>)
@aquinas1776 it is really easy to do it if you know how I have not got a clue with computers. If you want I can meet you on a different forum to tell you what to do. It only takes 2 minutes to set it up and I know where to get the game your looking for.
