this is a horrible knock-off. i'm really surpised there's been no lawsuit about this sort of thing. obviously, it won't seel, but i still just t hink that's ridiculous to rip-off something that blatantly. seems like something sony would do.
anyway, it's one of those with so many (40) games built into the system.
thoughts?

@bro2dragons: what makes you think Sony would want to be connected in any way to that thing? lol, they're smarter than that...

Looks like (at least based on the one picture in Chinese) these are aimed at China and probably other developing countries where most people couldn't afford to buy a Wii (or even have heard about it, since piracy is so rampant, it doesn't make sense for Nintendo to even go into China in any large way) anyways.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
Stupid Chinese. All their knock-offs and pirated games suck anyways.
Yes, but sometimes enjoyably so. There are few things you can enjoy for free that are as fun as reading the poorly translated summaries on the back of bootleg DVD cases at the store. They're often actually poorly translated movie reviews from the bootlegger. It's also not uncommon for these reviews to be negative or not even from the right movie. It would make sense if they just copied a random English review, but the Chinglish is so bad you know they translated it themselves.

No, it actually has a different (And somewhat creative) name, that's better than what Sony would (and is) doing lol

@digiki, tbd, and RWP: i say sony because of how many times they've ripped off Ninty. i'm not a fanboy. i have respect for other companies, just little for sony. i don't condemn them. i understand it's capitalism and if one company has the upper hand, you want to even the field. but just the way they straight up copy Ninty so often without being original with anything, really gets to me. they ripped off Ninty's control stick, and more recently their wiimote, among other things. i ddid partly say that, as i joke, though. it did make me think of their new "sphere" or whatever they're calling it now", but i know they wouldn't be THAT obvious. i honestly would buy their system if i had the money. i'm no fanboy. but i don't have much respect for them as a company.
@token and cheetahman: it's actually not chinese. at least not the Zone40. the Zone40 is american. which just ads to the ridiculousness of the idea to me.

I thought that console was a Zeebo at first, like a localized version.
I find this console quite interesting (The Zeebo), in how it's like the PSP Go, download-only games. You buy them with a similar system to the main 3 consoles, Z-Credits, and games cost about 1500-2000 of these. Not a huge selection of games but it sounds interesting enough
It even has it's own motion controller, called The Boomerang. At least this one isn't as blatant a Wii Remote rip-off as others have been (I'm looking at you Zone 40)
