GAMES I HAVE

Trine 2: Complete Edition (I’ve bought this previously for the X360 and Wii U, and IMO, this is the best version, the 60fps really does help to smoothen out the gameplay and improve upon the decent but not great platforming………still one of my favorite games from the last 2 or 3 years.)

===================================

Flower (Fist time playing as I didn’t have a PS3, I was impressed by how accurate the Dual Shock 4’s feedback was. Overall I can understand how this game is a critical darling,.....it’s beautiful and unique, almost soothing, but I doubt I’ll be coming back to it much.)

===================================

Resogun (A very addictive, flashy, albeit short shoot em’ up. I received it free with my PS+ subscription, but it’s well worth paying the full asking price if you have to. Online co-op is the best feature, as teamwork is essential and seeing the “Armageddon” explosions with two ships flying around is pretty kick-@$$)

===================================

Killzone: Shadow Fall (I agree with most of the online reviews, it’s graphically a monster, uber detailed with a silky smooth frame rate. I think the best descriptions I have heard about this game is that it has a “Crysis 3” feel to it………..which it does, and I’m not a huge fan of the latter. Despite that, the combat is very solid in the campaign, and well put together, but poor level design decisions mean that towards the end, your just kinda playing to end it all. Another review said that “Killzone: SF is a launch you’ll show off to your friends now, but that you’ll forget even existed in three years”, and yeah, that about sums it up.)

===================================

Need for Speed: Rivals (Man, what a time sink this game has been so far, probably my favorite racing game from 2013, and superior to 2012’s Most Wanted. The actual racing is similar to the previous iterations, arcady with a Burnout kind of feel, despite not being developed by Criterion this time around. I love the split campaign idea (police and racers), although I wish they were about even in difficulty, because as it stands, the police campaign is easy to blow through, while racers is as tough as nails.

GAMES I’M LOOKING TO PURCHASE IN THE NEXT THREE MONTHS.....

JAN 28: Tomb Raider: Definitive Version (I -->absolutely<-- fell in love with this game on the X360, and I’ll have no problem forking over the cash for another go around, albeit I wish they added more to the single player experience outside of DLC and significantly improved visuals)

===================================

FEB 22: Driveclub (Originally this was my PS4 purchase of choice, until it got pushed to the right. I’m still looking forward to it, and all of the previews have highlighted the fact that this game has progressed tremendously since E3 2013, so my fingers are crossed that this is a very solid racing game)

===================================

FEB 25: Rayman Legends (An incredible game I bought for the Wii U already, I’m really hoping that like in Trine 2 for the PS4, they push up the frame rate here to 60 fps, that would be an utterly amazing game to look at)

===================================

Mar 18: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (The first official half of Metal Gear Solid V, I’m still not sure about this one, as I’ve never been a huge Metal Gear fan, given the overly lengthy (stupidly preachy) dialogue, cutscenes, and stealth gameplay. If the reviews are high, I’ll probably fork over the cash and give it a try)

===================================

Mar 21: Infamous: Second Son (This one is a no brainer, a day one purchase. Given that I was a Wii / X360 gamer, I’ve never played the Infamous series before, but considering it’s reputation, and the amazing trailers thus far, I’m pretty hyped. I think this will be right up my alley.)

===================================

Mar 31: Dying Light (A upcoming FPS by the guys behind Dead Island and the most recent Call of Juarez games, so, although I’m not expecting anything uber great, I do like my solid by dumb FPS’s here and there….I think I’ll get it unless it’s a dud)

How does Injustice: Gods Among Us compare to the Wii U version (besides all of the extra DLC, etc)?
