Topic: Your dream console and games

Describe it

My dream console use the same controllers as the Wii. Which is to say, support a LOT of controllers. There'd also be a REAL zapper (although putting your zapper together is cool, it's not as cool as putting a legit zapper together!)
It would have an account system so if your system bricks, just transfer the games.
It would use cartridges to increase durability. No DVD playing - moving parts = weaker system.
A bigger wiimote, with bigger buttons for us in the west.

Now onto the games.. THE GAMES!

SUPER MARIO BROS. 7. Bundle with the console. A new epic 2D Platformer introducing all new worlds to explore (I.e. Content) using a brand new engine with new physics, new controls.. given a sound treatment as good as 3D Mario. No more bah bah. The game will be so good while it will introduce new mainstays to the series, so you could easily see it even feature in Mario Kart. Difficulty will be like the old Mario games, there will be no more artificial difficulty from playing to 100% the game - no, just old fashioned, classic Nintendo. Like classic coke... Designed first for single player, but makes a lot of room for multiplayer. It needs to be ambitious. Nsmbu looks umambitiius from out here, nsmb2 looks even worse. (Is it below them?)

Wii All Stars: Collection of the Wii games such as a Wii Play, Wii Sports, Wii Party..yeah.
New super ambitious Wii Sports packed in with the console. It cannot be stressed enough how important sports games are. Wii Sports just exploded. I finally started playing it, and it is awesome,

New 2D Metroid. I only ever played it on a gameboy. Man I sucked at that game. From what I hear, it should be unable to be beaten in a weekend, should have little story, and should mostly just be hard but fair.

A game that takes the brush mechanic pioneered by Okami, cuts out all the puzzle and adventure. Sanitize it. Okami should be just the drawing with the wiimote experience, it is fun. It was the rest of the game that bombed(sucked) for me.

The console will not be made to recycle.. It will be intended to last a long time. Same with the games... I'm talking about the packaging! Make it nice. For zelda throw in a cloth map. Cloth! Packaging impresses and is the real value of physical new stuff against used...and retail is not going anywhere. If you really want to cut down on used games, make the packaging nice and impressive so people WANT a new game. Digital is not the answer,

Basically, epic 1st party games to sell the hardware. 1st party games must sell the hardware. Excellent or nice packaging and games and consoles made to last. Account system. Backwards compatibility, virtual console with all the classics (which should be cheap but not angry birds cheap). Uses Wii controls. Has real Wii Zapper. No nickel and diming... Maybe comes with two controllers?

Idk what else I really want. Oh forgot one thing, price!

My dream Console will just be a console which combines and plays all Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo Games. It would also have the servers a PC has so that Massive Online Multiplayer Games such as World of Warcraft can be played!!

An all in one system that can play any games from any system ever.

In regards to that last one imagine a console that had every third party game from previous generations of consoles, with only the first party games from Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, like Super Mario Brothers and Halo, missing. That'd be pretty sweet.

Sonic, PAC man, dig dug, pong, need for speed, call of duty, etc... Woo!

My dream console would be a PC that could play Nintendo games and is compatible with a virtual reality headset. My dream handheld would be a PC that plays Nintendo games.

Another Neo Geo like thing but based on current Arcade hardware. (Whatever the modern Tatio Type X used etc). With proper joysticks.

Something along the lines of the retron 5, except all sega from the master system through to the dreamcast including the add ons and gamegear with a sega eshop to go along with it.

and plays ps1 japanese games!
