Topic: Xbox One? is it a plus(+) or minus(-)?

I am currently gathering feedback (for personal record) on the recently released system known as the Xbox One. I am wanting to know if you are...

A. Currently owning the system.
B. Planing to buy one. (If you answered no to A.)
C. Enjoying the services provided by the system. (If you answered yes to A.)
D. thinking of improvements you would like to have made? If so what kind? (Examples- Price, Games, Graphics, Etc.)
And finally...
F. would you recommend it to a friend or family member?

I understand this is primarily a Nintendo-related site, But I am curious from first hand accounts how well you like/dislike the Xbox One.

Thank you for the feedback, is there anything you would like to change in the Xbox systems that might change your view? Pros and Cons would be nice.

D. Sell an Xbox One bundle without Kinect, at a lower cost. (Maybe $400?)

I can understand that the cost is an issue for some. Hopefully in 2+ years the price will drop for those that desire a cheaper than $499.90 (+Tax) system with the same benefits. I will hopefully find news on a price range for when that time comes, and when i do i will be sure to post, thanks again.

B. Possibly. Depends on how my college situation turns out. I would buy one for Xbox Fitness, primarily.
D. Pay up for getting Titanfall 100% exclusive for the Xbox One, cancelling the PC and 360 as well as getting the next game in the franchise exclusive as well. Also, include a year of Xbox Live with the system to help alleviate the price difference between the competition. Maybe incorporate more game deals as well. And get a streaming service that can play my 360 library.
F. If they are a fitness buff, absolutely. The system coming with P90X and Insanity is a fantastic deal. Otherwise, it would ultimately depend on tastes. If they want an excellent media hub, then I'd recommend it over the competition, while if they just want to play games, I'd recommend the competition, solely because of price.

Also, as a note, I wouldn't recommend the PS4 or the Xbox One to anyone only interested in games right now. The libraries need to thicken up a bit.

@moomoo very well put. When I am looking for a console i know who to go to now. You appear to know a lot, and have very good points. I think I should make a new post based off of your ideas if that's okay with you?

Cut the system in half then remove the useless TV junk and sell the Kinect as a option. Now the Xbone can sell for what it's actually worth... $99 sounds good to me

F. (Is there some reason you skipped E?) No cause right now everything that all my friends want out of a console is offered with a PS4 which is cheaper then the Xbox One.

Although there wouldn't be many games for me to buy... I will rename it the MAB $99 GTA BOX

F. Since I don't have the system, I wouldn't be able to give anyone a qualified opinion on whether or not to buy one (the same can be said for the other two systems as well).

As for my personal thoughts, I'd love to have one because we do have a 360, and thus already have a XBL account/friends, but at the same time, I tend to enjoy Japanese developed games more than western developed games (thanks to growing up on SNES, Genesis, N64, & PS2), and that's an area where the Xbox brand seems to lag behined Sony & Nintendo.

D. Major problem for the XBO for me is that it's pretty much just a PC with a special OS. I already have a PC, so an XBO wouldn't really serve any purpose. There aren't any exclusives on it that interest me, whereas Nintendo has its legendary IP and Sony gets the majority of the JRPGs.
F. I'd recommend both a PS4 and a Wii U before the XBO due to the above reason.
