@NEStalgia Well, there you go: in a very complicated, overly long and/or roundabout way, we've once again come to the conclusion that we actually agree, for the most part.

Except for the fact that I do seem to be a bit more accepting of certain noises, and don't feel the need to research where some of them are coming from, or why they're not stopping...

@ThanosReXXX nah, the only console noises I've heavily investigated is the ps4 beeping continually, and the x1x hdd spinning, but not because of the nose, but because of the knowledge it's destroying $150 hardware and 5TB of downloads

@NEStalgia Man, sometimes I'm beginning to wonder if I should ever walk into certain discussions while sober, so I might be better able to not regret them. You kinda began the whole "I can hear all my consoles" thing, which to me sounded like you were paying a little too much attention to operational noises, while what you SHOULD be doing with consoles, is playing games on them...

The Noise Hunter. Good name. I see a book and a movie coming...
Or perhaps a live TV show, in which noise-offending people are horrendously embarrassed with cameras right in their faces...

@ThanosReXXX Well, you're honorary Dutch, i didn't think trying to do anything sober was really wise.... Right @octane ?

Could be worse though, you could be Irish, where anything below 90BAC counts as a disability

But yeah i literally just meant that most of them are indeed audible to one extent or another, not that it was disruptive

Halo Reach flighting isn't starting before E3, I'd guess more details will be happening at E3.

@NEStalgia Better not start talking about the Irish, you might never know who will decide to come back from wherever the heck he's gone to...

Dezzy

So we gonna see Halo Infinite and Fable 4 at this E3? One of them, both of them, or neither of them?

Grumblevolcano

@Dezzy I think it'll depend on how much Microsoft wants to reveal about the next gen systems. If a lot then plenty of info about both, if just a tease like Scorpio at E3 2016 then just Halo Infinite and no gameplay (Halo focus being on MCC PC and Reach instead).

@NEStalgia I've no idea. He must have been, at some point. Especially during those times that he was extra grumpy...

P.S.

I have no idea what type of units BAC are. Is it the same as in the EU? Over here, they call it alcohol promillage, and you're allowed to have about a percentage of 0.5 promille, which is measured in units of a total allowed amount of 0.5 milligrams of pure alcohol per cc blood. For younger drivers with less experience, the allowed percentage is only 0.2.

In layman's terms, it simply translates to two glasses of alcohol, which isn't really a nice restriction to have, on a party, unless you don't like or drink alcohol at all...

That's why we either use public transport, or have a designated driver, a job that everyone of us gets every once and a while, to keep things fair, and it's better than only being able to drink two beers for the entire night, so you might as well drink nothing and make yourself useful by being able to safely escort the rest of the group back to their homes...

@Grumblevolcano Halo infinite is x1 iirc. I thought they confirmed that ages ago. Dual release probably but still, no reason to hold back info.

No way they release scarlett info in depth while Sony holds their cards. MS can't be THAT stupid.

NEStalgia

Grumblevolcano

@NEStalgia Dual release is exactly why they'd hold back info, especially as there's big stuff happening on the non-Infinite Halo front. Same with Forza, if Microsoft doesn't show much of the next gen systems then I only think we'll see Horizon 4 Expansion 2 on the Forza front (no Motorsport 8).

@Grumblevolcano why not show much about a game already certain to arrive on the current machine they're still trying to sell through this holiday? Thats silly. True launch games for x2, of course not even a mention. But infinite was already introduced last e3. No reason not to promote that upcoming for current owners and those that may buy an x1.

Tbh i figure infinite is some online competitive game i don't care about more than a real story based Halo campaign... But still, no reason to not promote it while Sony is sleeping. MS will dazzle work tetraflops and quality pixels after a sonys theatrical movie like unveil. It'll be hard to compete against Knack 3. . (I'm the only gamer on the internet that's not sarcasm for... )

PSA, today is the last day to get the 3 months of Game Pass for $1 deal. Works for both new and returning subs!

redd214

Dezzy

@redd214

Lol I did that just to play Crackdown 3 and got bored in about 20 minutes. So $1 was a fair price imo.

redd214

@Dezzy lol yeah I played thru the campaign and was very underwhelmed. Was a fun afternoon but not something I ever want to go back to

Dezzy

When is Sea of Thieves officially finished? Is it already complete? I might give that a go at some point.
And does it have enough that you can play single-player or is it multiplayer only?

Banjo-

I would say that the recent Anniversary Edition makes Sea of Thieves a complete game for single and multiplayer. It is one of the best games ever made for multiplayer but it can also be the most frustrating experience ever for single players and random multiplayer. It's always beautiful though.
