I would most likely take Smash Bros and maybe Tetris, yet I am too experienced in Pokémon to actually learn much (yet I may take such anyways)...
...yet my parents may not approve (not to say anything bad about them). No bother.

I would because I would enjoy it, even if it was something that I was fairly knowledable about.

They'd probably find a way to make it boring and have no actual gaming.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

Yup. Althougha degree in Pokémon wouldn't exactly look shining on your CV.

agreed. or the prof. would get on your case for doing (insert thing here) differently than the way he's teaching, even though your way is perfectly valid and can get you a high score twice as fast. :P

A little related but I actually hosted a one-day Wii Class at my local community college last year.

I'd take a Smash Bros one, definitely, but it depends on the price.

A friend of mine is taking Narratives in Video Games (or some such thing) and it sounds incredible. He had a blast and, last I heard, he was writing his final paper on Portal and Pikmin 2. (And another game I can't remember right now.)

Yes, I would gladly take a course on these games. :D

Hey, I jerk lots of stuff, but chains ain't one of em. He's going...um...somewhere in Washington State. I'll have to ask him; it's been a while since we talked about school stuff. I took a bunch of literature and philosophy courses in college, and they were loads of fun...I can only imagine how fascinating a well-taught video game class could be.

I could use a Smash Bros course, my skills have been quite down lately, I'm losing confidence. Pokemon, just no to that and Tetris, I consider myself to be good enough not to need the course (One of the few games I'm confident about my skills on). Might go play some Tetris Party now, haven't played that version of Tetris for awhile.

In real life though, I will soon start taking a course in Computing, one with a larger focus on software development and then head on the Uni, so in 5-6 years, I could be creating my own games.
