Topic: Would it be too late to buy Fallout 3 now?

Definitely pick up the GOTY edition; I'd pick it up for PC myself if I had one that could actually run it, it's one hell of a deal...

Also, New Vegas is a completely different game (story-wise)...

Would the Game of The year Fallout 3 edition be cheap now?
In argos,they got Fallout 3(standard,no DLC) for only 25 Euro.....Thats awfully cheap for a PS3 game....lol

The Game of the Year Edition costs as much as a Full Priced PS3 game. It's the same cost as if you bout the standard edition, the bought all the DLC.

My dad is going down to gamestop to buy Fallout 3 for me. I'm only 17 so I can't buy it. lol

Cannot wait to play it.
I am only buying the Standard edition to get a taste of the Fallout universe!

Enjoy it Sean. Its one of the best RPG's I've ever played and I've still not finished it. I think you did the right thing getting the normal version .There is so much content anyway and if you really like the game you can choose which DLC to pick,some are better than others. If you do, make sure you get the one that removes the level cap (can't remember which one it was). Fantastic game, can't wait for New Vegas.

Also for people saying NEW VEGAS is a completely different game.
Actually its a different story and new land(Las Vegas obviously lol)

The game play will be the exact same and will use the exact same engine that powered FO3.
PS3 Magazine has pictures of the game and it looks incredible.
There seems to be mutated dinosaur looking enemies lol You have a companion and can tell it what to do,defend,attack etc.
It will have so much more content.
OMG I CANT WAIT FOR FO3!!!! lol and new vegas!!!

@Sean007s: Bad move, you should've gone with the GOTY edition, you'd have gotten all of the DLC for free--which meant increased level cap, the best armor and the best weapons...

Also, if you'll notice I said that "New Vegas [would be] a completely different game (story-wise)", so, yeah, I've obviously read the magazine interviews and seen the screenshots...

Not really.
I am not interested in all DLC,plus I want get the game as cheap as possible.

Sorry guys. I thought my dad would go down to Gamestop but he is too "busy".
However tommorow I am getting the game as he is bringing me down

I think Ill buy Sega Megadrive ultimate collection today.
