Well, just four hours to go till the servers go live! Who else is ready and waiting to log-in?

I cant do any of the Cataclysm stuff like make a Worgen or fly around Azeroth untill I get my copy of Cataclysm in the mail. Thankfully its being overnighted from Amazon.

I probably wont make a Worgen right away since I am leveling up a Dwarf Shaman. And not only that but I dont want to have to fight a million other people over quests and such in the Worgen starting area.

Yeah, Gilneas and the Isles of Goblin-Whoops are going to be crowded for the next month. I'd best avoid them if I know what's good for me.

So...Dwarf Shaman?

Yep I dont care much for Dranaei and I have always wanted to play a Shaman. Hes just one of my many characters. I also have a Level 80 Human Death Knight, a leve 54 Night Elf Druid, a Level 80 Orc Warrior, and a Forsaken Hunter. Those are the ones I mostly play but I have a bunch of other characters that I have made and will get to someday.

Which server do you play on?

Currently I have a single main on Grizzly Hills.
It seems odd that an Aussie would pick a US server...still, I is where I is!

EDIT: I'm not far though (I started from scratch and hit Level 6 last night), so I'd still be willing to find a new home.

Ah ok yeah all of mine are on Argent Dawn cause thats where the guild I belong to is, At least for Alliance anyway. And I dont think its odd that an Aussie plays on a US server. We have quite a bit of Aussies in our guild and its a EST US server.

I ended up choosing to play as a Worgen Druid as my first new character - not because it's the hot new thing or because I want to pick what everybody else is picking right now, but because it's the race that most appealed to me when I made my character.

Druids are a fun class to play. Unlike a warrior or say like a mage a Druid can be played several ways. You can do a balance Druid which casts nature spells and are like mages, Bear feral druids can tank like warriors while cat feral druids can DPS like a rogue. Last but not least you have a Restro Druid which can heal like a priest. I have alot of fun with my druid.

Sounds kinda similar to a Diablo 2 Druid (less the restoration ofc) You can build a caster druid (fire or wind) or a shapeshifter (bear/tank or wolf/speed)

Magi

@Magi: Yeah it does sound similar, but thats not surprising since both are made by Blizzard. Although I never played Diablo 2. I played a port of Diablo on the Playstation years ago.

So it's pretty much official that Goblins have the best starting quests in the entire game. While playing through, I wasn't even paying attention to my level. I saw I hit level 9, and thought "I don't care about this, I want to know what happens next!". The first time in all my 6 years of WoW that I wasn't playing for experience or gear, I was playing for story and characters.

That's the same experience I've been having playing as a Worgen! It's like an ongoing story with pieces of a puzzle you must connect together. It's awesome!

Yeah they really did a nice job of telling stories with this Expansion. Even old zones like Westfall and Badlands even Redridge and Thousand Needles had great storylines it didnt feel so much like a grind as it did in the past. Before I knew it I finished all the quest in the area and I was moving on to the next and I felt satisfied with the zone.

@BedCommando: I know what you mean I started so many alts in the past that I would just get bored of the same old grinding that I would end up going back to my Level 80 and not finish off those alts. Now I am at level 50 with a Dwarf Shaman, Level 20 with a Worgen Hunter and I just made a Goblin.

Heck I have been playing WoW so much the past few days that I havent had a chance to log in here or really any other sites lol.
