It's been officially confirmed that Xbox LIVE is coming to Windows Phone (ie Smartphones running Windows Mobile), brnging serious gaming to the phone market, and in direct competition with Apple's iPhone with a big difference: iPhone games only work on iPod Touch and iPhone, while Windows Phone games will work on a wide array of Smartphones...

I think it's good. The Iphone's are expensive as hell just because they have no real competition in their area. This will only benefit the consumers.

@Magi wait for the new HTC-Microsoft phone that's coming out later this year... that one should come with Windows Mobile 7 (instead of 6.5 as current ones) and will be LIVE-enabled out of the box.
