Also, the hard format got me from 44GB available to 49GB available of "55GB" of the 60GB its supposed to have. WTF, lol?

The operating system takes around 5GB, I believe.

Which Guitar Hero is it for? If it's one of the later ones with USB dongles, it should work with the PS3. If it has actual PS2 plugs, though, you're outta luck there.

As for the hard drive: It may not seem to make any sense, but rest assured it's perfectly normal. I highly recommend buying a replacement hard drive online (I used newegg), as a 60gig won't go too far if you actually use it, and larger hard drives are really cheap nowadays (you can get over 300 gigs for less than $100 easily). Just check for 2.5" SATA hard drives.

Yeah, the HD is likely going to run out soon, as I've already used nearly 10GB to install games. However, an additional HD is out of my budget right now, so I'll just delete the install data of games I'm not playing when I need to.
