I just noticed that Forza 3 will have DLC for anyone who buys it new. This DLC will consist of a package of classic cars and two tracks. Considering I can't get XBL, I can't get any DLC. Since Forza 2 had a special edition featuring a bonus disc with all its DLC, I was wondering whether Forza 3 will eventually have a bonus disc as well. It'd save me the time, effort, and money.

It more than likely will... but it will probably still be downloadable on LIVE only (I prefer that way, stops those undesirable pirates from getting DLC)

I'd get XBL, but the setup is too much of a hassle for my dad to bother with. Plus, I'd only use it three times.

just buy a long enough Ethernet cable, and connect it when needed... no setup involved... that's what I do lol

OK, looks like I can do XBL. I'll just hook up my 360 to my dad's computer and plug it into my parent's TV. Then, I'll upload the points, get the DLC, and be done.
BTW, can I still get the DLC for PGR2?

PGR2? dunno, don't have the game lol
PGR3 and 4 have DLC... some free cars, and some paid car packs too...
but, since the Halo 2 Map packs are still available (when accessing the markeplace in-game), then I bet that other Xbox games that had DLC are still available too
PS: Remember you'lll have to either do bridging, or ICS in that case... a Bridge works better, and almost lag free, while ICS is more compatible

PGR2- moot now that newer games have the Challenger, C6, etc. Future games also have Paris.PGR3- can find some V-series cars in the Forza seriesPGR4- no interestForza 2- moot now that Forza 3 will have everythingForza 3- let's wait and see whether there'll be a bonus disc like Forza 2

PGR is NOT the same kind of game that Forza, they are very different... Forza is a driving sim, PGR is a racing game... Forza is a lot more realistic (and as such, harder) than PGR...

I understand that. PGR is arcade, Forza is sim.
If I update PGR2, I'll get the Corvette C6. However, PGR3 and PGR4 already have the C6. No need to update it, then.Forza 3 has almost the entire bonus content from Forza 2 (Challenger, Miura, Road America, etc), so why update Forza 2?
