Topic: Why is it so hard to get a video game soundtrack?

I want to hear video game song from my mp3 and since we know that a LOT of games don't have an official soundtrack, we're forced to get them via youtube or through other means.

Why can't devs give a way to get the soundtrack by connecting our mp3's or Iphones to Steam, 3DS, Wii U, PS4 or Xbox One and get the songs from the game we want music for.

I'm struggling to get the music of Fire Emblem Awakening and yet the soundtrack's only out in Japan and its sold out. And even if you can get it in Nintendo club, why can't Nintendo instead use a device where you can store all the game music you want and listen to it for free since we bought the game, its only fair that we get what's in it.

I want the soundtrack of Wario Land 4 but Nintendo hasn't made one so how else to get it/listen to it? Or how about a soundtrack for Pokemon x/y? Nope. can't get them. So what to do, listen it from Youtube or get it from some site instead. Granted, its a possibility that its illegal but if Nintendo doesn't make soundtracks and since games are so old that no one will ever bother, who's gonna be in trouble if the music is on youtube?

Just download it to your computer from youtube and put it on your mp3

There's some Final Fantasy music on iTunes... even the NES music. And what a deal that is at 99 cents for a five second track.

Because government, or whatever. I gave up looking and just record the music myself, I have Smash 3DS's full soundtrack this way. owo

Some of the CD based ones cost a fortune (I was thinking about getting the Afterburner one until I saw the price).

Actually, there are lots of Pokemon games' soundtracks on iTunes, including X/Y,

I don't think I should share the link, but there are a few safe sites that let you download the songs without the use of torrents.
But if you can find it on itunes, you have no excuse.

Speaking of Pokemon, I wonder when ORAS will be up on iTunes.

Except that itunes is @#$%, particularly if you don't own any Apple products.

Wario Land 4 is not a hard game to get the music from. I know a site with literally every song in the game available, including all in level variations.

And yes, video sites like Youtube are a pretty convenient way to get the music too.

Every time I convert videos into audio and download the quality is usually ends up cruddy.
