The one I've asked earlier is why third parties matter but this one is why you love third party devs? is it something they do that first party doesn't do at all?
If a company makes a great game, whether they release the game on their owned platform doesn't change that. In most cases, it just makes the game less accessible.
Whether it's 1st, 2nd or 3rd party, when there are good games being made it's the consumer who wins. I may not be a fan of all of them but there are plenty that I can't imagine the industry going without.

I love them cause some of the games third party developers make are amazing in their own way.And 'm not talking about those terrible annual releases, that never change and they don't have to cause they will still sell a million copies every single freaking year.
For the same reasons I love any other game in existence.

Does it matter who makes it if it's unique enough in some way that it's fun to the buyer? A turd is a turd, doesn't matter if Nintendo or Sony made it, or someone paying a licensing fee.

It is seriously difficult to even name a truly-first-party Sony or Microsoft franchise (as they publish so much outside-developed stuff).
Maybe just because they came in after the "mascot craze" ended?
(I mean, I'm not even sure if the Halo IP belongs to MS or Bungie)
Because good games are good games no matter who makes them. And i know you didn't ask but the reason we care so much is because a huge amount of good third party games won't be coming to the wii u, and as Nintendo fans that's a big annoying trend.
I don't really. I don't mind 3rd party exclusives on a console but my standards are the same as 1st or 2nd party (Or Work for Hire on behalf of Nintendo).
I quite like some of the smaller 3rd party games like Bionic Commando : Rearmed / Pacman Championship Edition DX+ / Double Dragon Neon / Castle of Ilusion.
On PC as long as I can run it at 60fps I will give most of them a try at a massive discount but it is rare I find one I like. (I like Sonic Generations and All Stars Racing Transformed). I liked Arkham Asylum and Arkham City but I tried the Wii U one recently and I am not interested in 30fps.

Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.
That's such a stupid question. Its like saying "You're a gamer, so why do you enjoy games other than Nintendo's?" The answer should be pretty obvious. It's the same reason I like some Nintendo games. I know many people here own a Nintendo console but separating Nintendo from 'everyone else' is a stupid thing to do.
who wouldnt like to go to three parties and play games?
usually you go to one party but when youve been invited to 3 parties at the same time, you must be one cool dude. live it up bro

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
