Topic: Why are so Many People Complaining about the XBOX One?

So if you haven't been living under a rock and are a fan of video games you have probably heard about the XBOX One. You've also probably heard a lot of nasty things about it. This isn't a thread so much as to talk about the system, but rather why people have had such a venomous response to the system.

Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. If all the policies are so bad, then people won't buy the product, meaning that Microsoft will have to make some changes. It's not like we're talking about things that affect everyone, like taxes, or things that are despicable from a view of ethics. It's a luxury good built for entertainment purposes. It's not like Microsoft has a monopoly, either. Consumers have plenty of options to choose from.

Regardless, post why you're mad and vocal about it or what you think of it all.

Because its different than the norm and people are afraid of change.

I personally hate 3 major things. The lack of backwards compatibility, mandatory online system, and a required online connection. Those things changed my mind about buying the Xbox One despite how cool it looks. EDIT: Oops, sorry @Tasuki, right when you said to end the thread I posted.

I hate everything about it, honestly. There's not a single thing about it that was announced or mentioned that sounded good to me. I don't really yammer on about it, though.
