Topic: When is KH3 supposed to come out for PS3?

It better not be! who would want to see Donald and Goofy in HD???

It hasn't gotten an original game since Persona 4 and RE: Chain of Memeories. All it's gets now is shoddy ports of PS3/360/Wii games and shovelware. It's pretty damn close to being dead.

Not to mention, Sony still supports the repair of PS2's

I can see why. It still sells well cuz it's dirt cheap and has a huge history of great, cheap exclusives...

My point is that the PS2 is past it's prime and will never recieve a big-name exclusive (or really any exclusives at all) ever again. Sony's moved on to the PS3, and the game will be released on that.

Unless they choose to release it on multi-platform, which may or may not be a good idea

And It probably won't be a good idea, judging from all the other PS2 ports of Next-Gen games.

And Ricardo has a point: obscure games and cash-in ports are not exactly the makings of a health library. The PS2 is on its last legs, and Square-Enix knows it. Hence why they haven't released a brand new PS2 game outside of Japan in years - a fact which I highly doubt will change any time soon.

it will be yearsssss until we c KH 3 and it will be on both consoles just like FF 13 did it went mutiplatform which is awesome since i dont got a PS3 but really everyone should be hyped up for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days thats coming out this year i cant wait

I would be, but it looks too similar to KH2, which I did not like at al, and it's starring least favorite characters from KH2, whom so far haven't gotten any less annoying. In fact, I'm not even looking forward to KH3, either.(nor FF13, just for the record)

Oh well, at least I can still look forward to Birth By Sleep, whenever the hell that comes out.

Somebody couple of days ago posted a pic of a punk style Goofy head or building. I'm assuming that's a leaked pic from the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3. With the special movie at the end of KH2 the only logical conclusion is that there is going to be KH3. It'll probably be a very massive PS3 or Xbox 360 game since its been four years since the release of KH2. If KH3 was released on PS2 it would have to be on multiple discs because of it being such a massive game.

@Mickeymac-You woluldn't even buy it for the the multiplayer mode? KH 358/2 Days is actually based also on KH1. It will be good to buy to play some Kingdom Hearts goodness on the go. Oh well, it is going to be a LONG TIME waiting for Birth by Sleep [you are not the only one planning to buy Birth by Sleep]. I think it will be relased in 2010.

@SuperSonic1990 did you finish Chain of Memories yet?

Yes, I did. I finished Re:Chain of Memories about a week ago. Progressing through Sora's Story took forever, but after I defeated Axel [2nd time], I completetd Sora's Story and completed Reverse/Rebirth mode in a few days. Now, I'm going to try to replay and recomplete KHI [which I'm currently playing] and KHII before 358/2 Days comes out.
As for KHIII, Noruma said in an interview that Birth by Sleep will have an secret ending about the next game, but Noruma said,The next game will be the next game. I think the next Kingdom Hearts game could be an interquel between Birth by Sleep and KHI, and it could be possibly for the Wii.

KH 2 is easy to beat though (even on Normal mode) and as for the next game in the series? it BETTER be for either the PS2 or the Wii

Why would I buy a game for the Multiplayer Mode when nobody I know will play it, not even my bro, whose a much bigger KH fan than I am?

@Mickeymac-Ouch, I know what you mean. I do not have anybody to play on the multiplayer mode also. Strangely, Mission Mode can actually be played with one player. But, 358/2 Days should have included online multiplayer. But yeah, if you don't like the characters in KHII (which I still do not understand why), than I guess you will not like 358/2 Days. I still do not understand why you dislike KHII, I thought it was the best game in the series (until Birth by Sleep comes out).
