Topic: When is KH3 supposed to come out for PS3?

I love KH and I was wondering when exactly it is supposed to be out in the states? I've seen clips of the Japanese version on youtube where Sora gets killed and I was wondering is that in the US version?

They have to release 358/2 Days, Birth By Sleep, and Coded first >.<

I keyed in Kingdom Hearts 3 opening on youtube and there was a video of Sora in a knight's uniform battling against an evil dude who is ugly and bald. The evil dude grabs Sora by the throat and uses Blizzaga on Sora's face, killing him instantly. Then he flings Sora over the cliff and the mask Sora's wearing shatters revealing a frozen face. I cried it was so awful. If it was a home made clip, it really fooled me cuz it looked just like PS3 graphics.

That is Birth by Sleep. It takes place, I believe, 10 years before Kingdom Hearts. KH3 has not been announced, and, really, there doesn't need to be a third one.

That guy was not Sora. Sora was only 4 years old when Birth by Sleep took place.

I think Square said something that there might be a slight chance that the third one could pop up on another console...(I hope so honestly...)

They haven't started on KH3 yet, and I don't know if they had plans to either. But if they do have plans for it, I's assume it would come out sometime in late 2011. If it does come out, I hope to god it releases on 360...

WHAT!? I'd rather have it on the PS2 again than on the 360! If anything the series should go to Wii (since it would fit the graphic style that can be supported on Wii)

And why in god's name would you rather have the game on PS2 than 360? It would only allow the game to be played by a wider audience, much like many PS3 exclusives-turned-multi-console games.

Because that's where all the previous games took place (including RE: Chain of Memories) and the fact that I don't have Xbox 360

Well, they can't start making it until they're done with FF Versus XIII, and possibly KH: Birth By Sleep, and both of which won't be out for a few more years. Meanwhile, KH3 itself will also take several years to develop, once it's even started, so...well, I think you can see where I'm going here.

Mickeymac is right. It will probably be a long time before we see a Kingdom Hearts 3.

Well, the PS2 is technically dead now, so I don't think they'll include the latest one a dying/dead system, and I wasn't referring it to being a 360 exclusive. I meant I want it to be a multiconsole release on PS3 AND 360.

I think it will be out in 2011-2013, we won't see it until after the 3 new handheld Kingdom Hearts games are completely released. I heard that Square Enix's next Kingdom hearts game will be more of a main game, but it will not be KH3. Does that make any sense to you? It does not make sense to me. KH3 could be a PS3 exclusive.
