The first video game I've ever seen was Super Mario Bros. 3 and the second I've seen was SMB1. On the NES we owned SMB1, SMB3, Excitebike, Pac-Man, Q*Bert, and Magmax. I was wondering what SMB2 was for the longest time until I borrowed a friend's SNES years later in 2001 and played Mario All-Stars on it.
I didn't actually play video games myself until I got a Genesis with a Power Rangers fighting game and Lion King. Sonic wasn't until months later.

It was on the Genesis, but I don't remember which one. Although I remember Streets of Rage being the most I've played. Also Primal Rage I guess.

The first video game I saw and played was Pac Man. The first Nintendo video game I saw and played was Kirby's Dreamland. I then went on to Pokemon, and the rest is history.
I'm a little fuzzy on which game I saw first (might've been Super Mario World, might've been Super Mario Bros., might've been a random arcade game), but Super Mario Bros. was almost definitely the first game I played.
I'm not even sure which console I saw first let alone which game. I'm willing to bet it was either Ice Climber or Duck Hunt. My first game isn't any clearer but it was probably either Double Dragon, Cloud Master, Ys, or Altered Beast. I'm not even sure if it was the Master System or Genesis since I recall one of the Genesis models being backwards-compatible and only remember the games, those are the ones I played the most so chances are one of them is my first.
The first game I can remember playing? Pole Position. I had no idea who to play it (well) when I was about 4, in a sit-in arcade cabinet.
I don't know if all emulation I've played of this game just sucks or is the control really sensitive? (I remember playing the game later on MS Return of Arcade, I just move the mouse a tiny bit and the car goes flying across the track.) In the unlikely event I ever get to play an original machine again, I'll have to try it.
Super Mario Bros., for both first to see & play. I was 3 at the time, & would pause the game if I was going to fall in a hole, so Mario wouldn't die, lol.

I'm a bit hazy when it comes to remembering video games as a kid - I know we got a PC when I was 5 or 6, but I'm pretty sure I had at least played a Commodore 64 before then.
I couldn't tell you what I played though. At a guess, probably Granny's Garden or something.
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.
First seen: I used to watch my dad play Quake when I was little.
First played: Lego Star Wars 2. My neighbor won an X-Box and we played that game all the time.

I don't remember the first one I saw but i think the first one I played was some Scooby-Doo platformer on one of my friends GBAs when I was about 7. After playing that, I got myself a GBA (in 2005), and It basically continued until now.
