Topic: What does it take for video game companies to win back their audience?

Ever since the Seventh generation has showed up, games have no longer been competitive unlike the Golden Console war eras. Because of that, video game companies can make easy money with little to no hard working effort. We are seeing games being unfinished, having low expectations and feel like a slap in the fanbase when games don't reach to their hype/their wishes.

Companies try to make promises to their fanbase and yet they don't deliver their promises. One of the things that I'll never forget that recently these devs have done that hit us hard are.

1. EA: Their recent move with Battlefront is unforgivable with lack of content, shallow gameplay and having stupid high price despite the graphics and audio being the best thing about the game.

2. Capcom : Street Fighter V is incomplete and it angered many fans. They are infamous for having on disc DLC and are responsible for shutting down Clover Studio which caused the existence of Platinum Games. They also have this absurd policy that if an IP does not reach 2 million units, that IP is gone hence why we don't see Darkstalkers taking place.

3.Konami : Well, let's see what we have here.....they canceled Silent Hills, screwed up Kojima-San and they are moving over to Mobile. Not to mention that they treat their employees like dirt.

4. Square Enix: They can't make proper ports of their own masterpieces and expects them to be sold at high prices.

5. SEGA: Simple. They can't make quality Sonic games and ignore the large amount of IP's that are in dust.

6. Nintendo: Now, I got no issues with them but because I know someone who's going to make a rant of them at some point, I guess I have to include them on this list even though it sounds unfair....

I guess the only thing that I can somewhat agree with here is the youtube thing they have issues with and region locking. I can't find any fault with the Amiibo and some games that they release that require you to use DLC as means of getting more content.

So what will it take for these devs and many many others to win back their glory days of what they used to be and bring back the audience they once had?

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why
